Moore Invades Du Quoin for Xtreme Midget Action

Howard Moore entered the Xtreme Outlaw Series Midget doubleheader at the Southern Ill Center (Du Quoin, Ill.) over the weekend.

Action opened on Friday with 43 racers registered for action. Howard qualified eighth fastest in his group before registering a seventh-place finish in his heat race.

He was relegated to a Last Chance Showdown, and fell short of earning a spot in the feature with a 10th-place finish.

On Saturday, Moore enjoyed a much better outing. He qualified second in his group and then finished fourth in his heat race, which positioned him in the second-starting spot for a Last Chance Showdown.

Winning the Last Chance Showdown promoted Howard to the main event, where he started 16th. He went on to finish 13th.
