Howard Moore with POWRi top-fives at Tri City and Benton
Howard Moore was more than productive in his two-race venture with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6, concluding the double with back-to-back top-fives including a fourth-place result at Tri City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, and a fifth-place outcome at Benton Speedway in Benton, Missouri, the following evening. In fact, Moore's result at Tri City was the product of forward progress, climbing his way into the top-five after starting from the outside of row five. The Memphis, Tennessee, native now owns nine top-fives on the year, two of which victories during 360 sprint car competition.
Other weekend highlights include earning Quick Time honors at Benton Speedway, bettering Sammy Swindell by almost a full tenth. An eventual runner-up performance during heat race competition would allow Moore to start second on the feature grid; he would fade to the aforementioned fifth-place result.
