Howard Moore Attends 360 Knoxville Nationals

Howard Moore returned to the driver’s seat of the Rains Motorsports No. 3 Sprinter on Thursday afternoon at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) as the 33rd annual Xtreme Powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank kicked off with prelims on Thursday and Friday leading up to Saturday’s $20,000-to-win finale.

Pinned on the fifth row of his heat race on Thursday, Moore clawed forward three spots in the eight-lap affair to finish seventh, relegating him into a consolation race for another shot at the opener. Taking only the top-four, Howard was an early retiree on the fourth circuit.

Sitting 42nd in his group based on points on Thursday, Howard was slated to roll off third in the E-Main on Saturday but elected to scratch from the final day.
