Howard Moore Snags Last-Lap Victory at Riverside International Speedway
High Limit Racing at Texarkana 67 Speedway Up Next
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (04/23/25) – Howard Moore led just a single lap this past weekend—but it was the one that mattered most.
The 28-year-old Memphis, Tennessee native captured a dramatic last-lap victory at his home track, Riverside International Speedway on Saturday night to secure his first win of the season in the Mike’s Pool Care / Senter Farms No. 40 Stinson’s Industrial Triple X Chassis Sprint Car.
“That was a blast,” Moore said with a grin. “I spent a lot of laps just settling in and studying the guys ahead of me, trying different lines to see what worked best. I knew I had the speed to make a move—I just needed the right opportunity. I got a great run through turns one and two, and from there, it all came together. Thanks to all my great sponsors on our car, I appreciate your continued support.”
Moore made the short trip across the Mississippi River into Arkansas to compete in the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.).
With an 18-car field on hand for the second round of the series, Moore advanced into the feature with a runner-up showing in his heat race. While a pair of front-runners battled out the top spot in the early going, Howard quickly worked his way forward from the third row. Making his move to the front on the last lap, Moore powered past Landon Britt in the final corner to secure the 25-lap victory.
He notched his first win of the season ahead of Britt, Ernie Ainsworth, Derek Hagar, and Joe B. Miller.

Moore will sit idle this weekend as the team shifts its focus to next Wednesday’s Kubota High Limit Racing event on April 30. The national tour is set to invade Texarkana 67 Speedway, kicking off the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series.
