Howard Moore attends Ohio Sprint Speedweek
Howard Moore made the haul to the Buckeye State over the weekend as Attica Raceway Park hosted the opening round of Ohio Sprint Speedweek.
With 38 All Star Circuit of Champions entries signed in for the Bert & Brigitte Emick Classic, Moore completed time trials, but the night was cut short by inclement weather before heat races could begin.
Following another washout Saturday at Sharon Speedway, Moore traveled to Millstream Speedway on Sunday. He earned a spot in the A-Main with a victory in the consolation race, but his night came to an early end after pulling off just two laps into the 35-lap feature.
Despite the continued threat of rain, Moore committed to two more nights on the miniseries. On Monday at Wayne County Speedway, he came up short of transferring to the feature, but gained three spots in the B-Main to finish ninth after a tough heat race.
At the legendary Eldora Speedway on Tuesday, Moore’s run ended in the consolation round, where he finished 13th, bringing his Speedweek efforts to a close.
