Howard Moore joins Outlaws in Alabama; Texas stop on deck

Despite Saturday's World of Outlaws visit to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi, getting the boot to Mother Nature, Friday's start at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama, went on as scheduled, and Howard Moore was in on the action, ending his outing with the Greatest Show On Dirt with a 20th-place score, launching preliminary action with a fifth-place performance in his respective heat race. There were 25 entries for the $12,000-to-win showcase, one of which the ten-time World of Outlaws champion and eventual main event winner, Donny Schatz.
